One crew for the vessel and the building

We keep the marine, cellular and electrical systems our customers depend on running safely, and we aim to get it right the first time.

Sea-Tech Systems started on the water, fixing and fitting the automation and electrical systems that keep vessels moving. That same fault-finding discipline now runs our cellular and commercial electrical division, where we bring mobile signal into buildings that have none and keep Government Radio Network sites on air.

Both divisions work under the same certified management system, so a ship's engineer and a building manager get the same paperwork, the same safety standard and the same people answering the phone.

How in-building coverage works

A donor antenna on the roof picks up signal from the nearest mobile tower. We carry it down through the building and rebroadcast it on every floor, from the basement car park to the top office.

  1. Donor antenna captures the macro network signal
  2. DAS headend converts and distributes it
  3. Fibre and coax carry it to every area
  4. Discreet indoor antennas give seamless coverage

News and notes

Short write-ups from the field for the people who look after vessels and buildings.

  1. Why mobile signal drops out in basements, and how a repeater fixes it

Concrete and steel block carrier signal. A donor antenna and repeater bring it back inside.

    Cellular
  2. What a class calibration certificate covers

What surveyors check, what we test, and how to keep the gap between surveys short.

    Marine
  3. What ISO 45001 means when we work on your site

The safety checks you will see from our crew before a single cable is pulled.
